About our District

Falls District, formerly Impeesa District, represents over 40 units in the North Raleigh, North Carolina area. Geographically, Falls District extends from I-440 northward to the Wake County line, bounded on the west by Glenwood Avenue and the east by Falls of Neuse Road. Falls District is one of five districts representing Wake County in Occoneechee Council.

Falls District mobilizes resources to ensure that all units within our geographic territory grow and remain successful. To accomplish this, the Falls District leadership works through chartered organizations and community groups to recruit and retain youth in the Scouting program, to finance activities via fundraisers and council allocations, to provide exciting activities for our units, and to train our leaders.

The Falls District Committee meets on the first Thursday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at St. Mark's United Methodist Church on Six Forks Road (map).
